Zoning bylaw amendment for 5786 Fernbank (aka Fernbank Crossing)

The City as received a new zoning by-law amendment application for the land at 5786 Fernbank Road:

Zoning By-law Amendment application to rezone the subject property from DR to R3Z, R2P[703], R3Z[1837], R4M[2124], R4M[XXXX] and O1 in order to allow the development of 128 singles, 68 townhouses, 84 apartment units, 90 stacked dwellings and a neighbourhood park.

The development is Phase 3 of Fernbank Crossing, a joint project by Regional Group, Phoenix Homes and Richcraft Homes. They describe the subdivision as ” ten development blocks, 128 lots and four open space and pedestrian access blocks.”

The land located just east of what will be Founder Avenue, between the Trans Canada Trail and Fernbank Road.
