Guest speaker Trudy Garland is a sixth-generation resident of Goulbourn, descended from the original Irish immigrants to the area. She has lived her entire life here, calling the land her ancestors settled home.
Stories of the past have always fascinated her, guiding her own life’s journey and shaping her family’s values. She feels incredibly blessed and privileged to have grown up in such a wonderful community. She’s grateful to be able to share her passion for history with families who are deeply rooted in the founding of this community.
