In the hopes of grooming the trail portion of our route and having at least two lanes for the whole portion of the Trans-Canada Trail, a “snowshoe fest” is being organized to assist to flatten the trail.
There is no RSVP required. To start, people will meet on the trail by the rock near Shea Road and Abbott Street and will walk together along the trail to Robert Grant and return.
No snowshoes – no problem! Walking the trail in large numbers will help. High School volunteer hours will be provided for those helping out. For further information, please contact, Melissa.
