This month the SGHS is featuring Master Gardener Rebecca Last with a very timely talk – Preserving the Harvest.
Rebecca’s talk and demonstration describes ways to preserve the harvest covering the topics of: drying (drying herbs; dehydration of fruits and vegetables); cooking; canning (preserves – jams, jellies, chutneys); vinegars; freezing and curing.
The doors open at 7:00pm and the meeting/presentation begins at 7:30pm.
