Amberwood Gallery – featuring local painter Charles Spratt

We look forward to featuring the work of local painter Charles Spratt in the Amberwood Gallery on Sundays and Thursdays from 1:00-4:00 p.m. His exhibit entitled ‘Painting the Seasons’ will run from October 3rd – Nov 11th and will showcase 16 recent acrylic paintings. Twenty-five percent (25%) of all sales will be donated to the AVRA building fund.
Spratt is a signature member of the Society of Canadian Artists, the Ontario Society of Artists and the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour. He was co-founder of the long-running National Capital Fine Art Festival and the Manotick Dam Art juried show. Thirty years ago, he was instrumental in forming Plein Air Ensemble, a not-for-profit outdoor painting group that continues to offer twice-yearly trips for artists. He is a Life-Member of the Manotick Art Association and volunteer co-ordinator of the MAA summer Plein Air painting program.
