Stittsville Market @The Barn is beyond pleased to be hosting their 5th Annual Butter Tart Festival. Each year the Festival grows in popularity, so note the new location – Sacred Heart High School.
Rain or shine the Festival goes on with the butter tarts being judged by those in attendance and guest judges around 11:30am and once the scores are tallied, the winner will be announced. The tarts will be judged in three categories:
- best traditional
- best signature
- best traditional gluten-free
And, of course, People’s Choice Voting will take place again this year. Attendees have a say in your favourite butter tart! Everyone can vote for their ticket favorite butter tart by coming to see the Market @The Barn folks at the voting tent/table. Remember to write on your ticket, the butter tart number of your favorite baker.
There will be a variety of gluten free, celiac friendly, vegan, and nut free butter tarts available for sale.
There’ll be live music from Paul Crupi; carnival style games; tractor tour from Capital Services; food trucks; vendors and artisans.
