Join Councillor Gower for this year’s Jane’s Walk down Stittsville Main Street.
This walk will explore public spaces and gathering spots along Stittsville Main Street.
We’ll take a walk along Stittsville Main Street, we’ll get a glimpse at how Stittsville has transformed over the past 150 years from a small railway village to a rapidly-growing suburban community in Ottawa. This year, we’ll have a special focus on public spaces and gathering places along the street. As always, it will be a great opportunity to meet with neighbours and explore Stittsville’s favourite street!
Jane’s Walk is a pedestrian-focused event that improves urban literacy by offering insights into local history, planning, design, and civic engagement through walking and observing. There are walks planned all over Ottawa on May 3 & 4, check out the Jane’s Walk web site for info. Spaces are limited and registration is required: https://www.janeswalkottawa.ca/en/walks/janes-walk-ottawa-gatineau-2025/22028
