NEW DATE: Cleaning the Capital with the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society

Once again the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society is participating in the annual City of Ottawa Cleaning the Capital campaign.

Volunteers are welcome to join members of the Society as they clean up the Trans Canada Trail from Shea Road to Westridge Drive. This is also an opportunity for high school students to earn their volunteer hours.

Participants are asked to meet at Village Square Park (Abbott Street West and Stittsville Main Street) on Saturday, June 19th at 10:00 am. The clean up will continue until 12:00 noon. Please bring your own gloves and water bottle. Bags will be provided.

Public Health guidelines regarding Covid-19 apply to this event. Please keep a physical distance of 6 feet (2 metres) from anyone not in your household, and wear a mask whenever physical distancing is not possible.
