Date(s) - Tuesday, April 20
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm
It’s that time of year when we are all anxious to get into our gardens and get things growing.
The next meeting of the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society on Tuesday, April 20th will take place virtually on Zoom at 7:00 pm.
Join Kim Bonin, the Garden Director of Jo-Jo’s Community Garden, has many tips and ideas for us in her presentation, “Creative Garden Design and Tips for the Ottawa Climate.”
Kim will share tips on how to design a new garden, using the best soil, how repurposing items can bring a creative touch to the garden, and more. She will explain some of the many successes, but also some of the downfalls, that she has had with growing and building the community garden.
Society members will be emailed the Zoom meeting invite and link. If you are not a member and would like to attend as a guest, or if you would like to become a member, please send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Annual membership is $15 per person or $25 per family.
Please join us for what is sure to be an inspiring evening.
