Join the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society at their October meeting with guest speakers, Stephen and Jessica, owners of Arukah Worm Farm.
Stephen and Jessica run Arukah Worm Farm on a five-acre property in Newington, Ontario, with the help of three kids and over a million worms.
Arukah means restoration, and that’s exactly what they’re after: bringing soil back to life, one handful at a time. They hope folks leave the evening with a shift in thinking: that healthy plants start with healthy soil, and healthy soil is something every gardener can cultivate at home.
Stephen and Jessica will be bringing some worm castings for potential purchase.
