Don’t miss visiting the photo exhibition displaying the spectacular imagery captured by local photographer, Sylvie Sabourin, at the Stittsville Library during library hours.
Sylvie was born in France before moving to Canada in the early 1980s. Photography has always been her passion.
She captures the wonders of nature, be it in their smallest details or in a more panoramic way. She has exhibited in Canada and in the United States in numerous venues.
Her photographs hang in a number of private collections in different provinces of Canada and in France.
As a testimony to the beauty of nature, in 2022, she published a book entitled Emotions that presents a year in the life of nature on a portion of the TransCanada Trail in Stittsville and the area.
