Understanding Depression Among Women.

Understanding Depression among Women: a presentation by Dr. Jacqui Antonio, Registered Clinical Psychologist. Dr. Antonio has been working with people suffering from depression and other mental health issues for 18 years in private practice. This talk will provide an opportunity to gain some insights into this prevalent disorder as it affects women in particular. An overview of treatment options will also be discussed. Additionally, attendees will also learn about strategies to minimize the risk of getting depression.
Light refreshments will be served. This community event is presented by West Ottawa Community Church, 3123 Carp Rd., Please pre-register by sending $5.00 to finances@wocc.ca by e-transfer. Fewer than 5 registrations will necessitate cancellation; in this case notice and refunds will be sent to those who have registered. Walk in registration will be possible at $10 dollars.
