A joyous concert of carols and seasonal songs will be presented by the West Ottawa Ladies Chorus at St. Paul’s Anglican Church in Kanata on Saturday afternoon Dec. 7th at 2:30pm. The choir will be conducted by its founder, Robert Dueck of Stittsville and accompanied by Lanark-based Peter Brown. The program will include the beautiful harmonies of the “Nativity Carol” by John Rutter, the fast-paced rhythms of a Russian sleigh song and the toe-tapping Gospel music of “Star of Glory”. There will be many other songs including some Celtic numbers and a chance for some audience sing-alongs.
Tickets are $15 advance and $20 at the door with children under 12 free. They are available at Brown’s Independent Grocer locally, and other locations and online purchase are available on the website at www.westottawaladieschorus.ca.
