32-year-old man in critical condition after late night snowmobile crash south of Kanata

Paramedics treated a 32 year-old male for severe multi-system trauma as a result of a head-on collision between the snowmobile and a utility pole

Ottawa Paramedics responded to a call for snowmobile collision that occurred in the 5900 Block of Old Richmond Road in the area South of Kanata. The Ottawa Paramedic Service Communications Centre received the call just before midnight at 23:59, February 16.

The male patient sustained significant head injuries and had an altered level of consciousness, Paramedics treated the male with advanced life support care and he was transported to the Ottawa Hospital Trauma Unit where he is listed in critical condition.
