It all starts with curiosity: The art of storytelling with LEGO.
The Ottawa Public Library offers a world of programming and different learning tools such as LEGO. LEGO supports discovery, social connections, creative thinking, and is accessible for all ages and abilities. Library users can explore literacy in the numerous LEGO programs at OPL, offering them opportunities to create meaningful connections through storytelling, building challenges, and experimenting with LEGO Braille Bricks.
Celebrate Library Month with a LEGO and Literacy presentation, provided by two representatives from CNIB (Canadian National Institute for the Blind) – Attila Mihaly and Rhonda Underhill-Gray (LEGO Braille Bricks Ambassador and Play Hero). Come and explore the many ways OPL helps our community learn, create, and connect with curiosity through LEGO.
Join us before the presentation and get curious about the many Library materials that you can borrow, discover, or connect with!
The Interactive Display starts at 1:00 p.m. See what the Library has to offer. All ages are welcome!
