Bring your kids to the free ‘come try ringette’ open house and watch a game

The West Ottawa Ringette Association is excited to host a FREE ‘Come Try Ringette’ session on January 11, 2020.

Not sure what ringette is? Come find out what this fun and cooperative sport is all about! Find out firsthand why ringette is truly a team sport encouraging maximum participation. Click here to learn more in the meantime.

The event will be held Saturday, January 11th from 12:00 to 2:00 pm at the Cardelrec Recreation Complex (formerly Goulbourn Recreation Complex) at 1500 Shea Road in the Katie Xu and Jack Fan Rink (Arena A).

What you will need to bring is a helmet, skates and gloves/mitts. The Ringette Association will supply sticks and rings and all the FUN!!!! Experienced players and coaches will be available on ice to help everyone.

Show up at 11:00 am to see our U19A team take on the Les Intrepides out of Montreal!

This session is for children ages 4 and up. To register, please email  secretary@westottawaringette.com with your child’s name and age.

Come Try Ringette Schedule:

11:30 am Registration / stick sizing
12:00 pm On ice fun begins!
12:30 pm While the players are on the ice there will be a question period for parents with players, coaches and representatives from the West Ottawa Ringette Association.
