Wow! Thanks to everyone who supported this year’s Coldest Night of the Year fundraiser for Chrysalis House. On Saturday evening, over 125 walkers helped surpass this year’s $30,000 fundraising goal and there are still donations flowing in. As of Monday the total was up to $31,400 but there’s still cash donations and silent auction money to be added to the total so it will go even higher.

I would like to thank our Stittsville team for their support. Together our team raised over $4,200 – absolutely incredible! Thank you Manjit, Libbie, Sue, Payal, Ranjit, Rouba, Rob, Kathy, John, Jacquie, Sophie & Maddie for joining me in the walk.

Thank you also to all of the Stittsville businesses who contributed to our fundraising efforts: John & Kathy from Covered Bridge Brewing, Bengt from ISI Global, Ann from Kodiak, Cathy & Brian from U-Rock Music School, Ivan from Ivan’s Meat & Deli, Ian from G&I Automotive, Jacqueline & Warren from French Country Soaps, Luc & Nancy from Stittsville Glass & Signs, and Deszo from Olympia Gymnastics.

It’s not too late to contribute – donations are still being accepted until March 1. Click here to donate…
