The City of Ottawa is one step closer to approving a commemorative naming proposal to honour skaters Katie Xu and Jack Fan. The proposal is to rename Rink A at the GRC to the “Katie Xu and Jack Fan Arena”.
Councillor Shad Qadri says that the City’s Commemorative Naming Committee has approved the application, so now it’s on to the Protective Services Committee (April 19) and City Council (April 26) for full approval.
