Substance Abuse Information Session
Are you or someone you love being affected by the misuse of substances? You are not alone, addictions will affect one in 10 Canadians.
When addictions affect us, finding professional support when we need it can be challenging. When faced with unfamiliar processes and terminology, along with the maze of available options it can become overwhelming.
Members of the public are invited to attend a free information session to be held from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. on Thursday, October 26, at the Stittsville Lions Hall, 1339 Main Street Stittsville. Refreshments will be served.
Internationally Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor Dave Singleton will be hosting. Dave has worked and volunteered in the addictions field for 12 years in roles ranging from Advisory Counsel Member to Renfrew Victoria Hospital, to front line work with complex addictions and mental health Clients. He currently works in Private Practice offering a full continuum of Addictions Services including Assessment and Referral of Clients from Across the Upper Ottawa Valley.
