The next meeting of the Stittsville Goulbourn Horticultural Society on Tuesday, May 18th will take place on Zoom at 7:00 pm.
This month’s speaker is Arlene Rowe who will give a talk about compost, which is often referred to as “black gold.” Arlene has been composting for over thirty years and will share her vast knowledge in her presentation “Black Gold—A Personal View.” She will provide practical techniques that any suburban gardener, regardless of experience, can use to maximize the production of this precious commodity for their lawns and gardens.
Society members will be emailed the Zoom meeting invite. If you are not a member and would like to attend as a guest, or if you would like to become a member, please send an email to sghorticultural@gmail.com. Annual membership is $15 per person or $25 per family.
Please join us for what is sure to be an enriching evening.
