Around 1,750 people are participating in today’s 9 Run Run event. It’s a running event that doubles as a fundraiser for The Daron Fund at the Royal Ottawa Hospital and includes a half marathon, 10k, and 2k races. (You can read more about the event here.)
A heads up to Stittsville drivers: there several road closures on Saturday around Abbott, Stittsville Main, West Ridge, Fernbank and more. A full list of closures is here…
If you are planning on going to the advance vote at the Goulbourn Rec Centre, you might want to wait until the afternoon. The parking lot there is a popular place for race participants to leave their cars.
