Goulbourn Museum introduces imaginative workshops for March break

The kids had a blast at last year’s March Break, so Goulbourn Museum has added an extra day to their March break programs.

March Break 2020 will be offered from Monday, March 16 to Thursday, March 19 from 9:00 am to noon each day at the Museum. Each day of workshops is a drop-off camp for children ages 6 to 11. As the days fill up quickly make sure you register early.

Kids are guaranteed to have fun and use their imagination with these daily themes:

  • Monday, March 16 – Home Sweet Gnome! Create a gnome home with its own backyard.
  • Tuesday, March 17 – A-Maze-ing Robot Mazes! Build a maze and use a magnet to watch the robot move through it.
  • Wednesday, March 18 – No Drama Here! Make a shoebox theatre where you control the tiny characters from above.
  • Thursday, March 19 – Inn-Sect Hotels! Backyard bug buddies will want to rest their wings in the insect hotel you build.

The cost per child is $27.00 for each workshop or $100.00 for all four (snacks and and materials are included). If you are a Kits’ Club Member, the daily rate is $25.00 or $90.00 for all four workshops. Email the Museum to sign up at: register@goulbournmuseum.ca or give them a call 613-831-2393.
