The fun-filled annual tradition of the Goulbourn Museum’s annual Old-Fashioned Christmas Market will be going virtual this year because of COVID-19. Striving to bring the community together – the Museum has taken the annual Christmas Market virtual so you can still support the vendors who participate in this fun day of events and shopping.
This year, the Virtual Old-Fashioned Christmas Market will take place on goulbournmarket.ca. There, you will be able to explore the “virtual stalls” of 16 local vendors selling everything from preserves and soaps to pottery and textiles. A button will take you to vendors’ individual websites, where you will be able to browse their full inventory and make your purchases. Get a sneak-peak of this year’s vendors here.
The market begins at 10 a.m. on November 19 and runs until 5 p.m. on November 22. And, no need to worry about shipping fees! You can pick-up your purchases in-person at Goulbourn Museum from November 27 to 29.
The fun doesn’t stop there! Stay tuned to Stittsville Central and the Museum’s social media pages to see how you can enter into a raffle to win a gift basket stocked with homemade wares and order a Christmas Activity Kit filled with family-friendly crafts!
