Joe Chennette sent along a note today to let us know that his haunted backyard on Goulbourn Street is open again this year for brave trick-or-treaters.
The very spooky display (see photos from last year below) will be open October 29 & 30 from 7:00pm-9:00pm, and October 31 from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. It’s at 42 Goulbourn Street. (Or should that be Ghoulbourn Street?)
Chennette has been decorating his backyard like this for about a decade, getting bigger and bigger each year. Donations are accepted for CHEO. You can find more info on his Facebook page.
We want to see your photos! If you have a great Halloween display, or if you see one in your neighbourhood, send us a photo and tell us where it is. You can send your photos to feedback@stittsvillecentral.ca.
It’d be really funny if Joe hired some drama students and had them dress up as zombies and ghosts and witches and ask them to sit/stand very, very still… until an unsuspecting child walks by and they jump out! He’s got a good thing going with the veils and his set-up, must get very spooky when the sun goes down.
Looking forward to 2015!
