(press release)
Sales Representative and Team Lead of the Colleen Lyle Real Estate Team of Keller Williams Ottawa Realty and Mortgage Agent Sue Hameed, Capital Mortgages (#M13000637), announced today the official launch of House Hunt 2016, a first-of-its-kind event where Ottawa residents will have the opportunity to win a $15,000 down payment on the purchase of their next home.
“Colleen and I share the same passion — we want to help people,” said Sue Hameed. “We are beyond thrilled to be able to offer this life changing opportunity because we realize that sometimes people just need a break to achieve their dreams of owning a house.”
House Hunt takes place on April 9th at the Crazy Horse in the Kanata Centrum plaza, where event registrants will gather and enjoy some music, food, amazing prizes, and of course the grand prize handout. People can register to participate in House Hunt 2016 atwww.ottawahousehunt.ca. The cost is per ballot is $25.00 for 5 ballots for $100.00.
House Hunt 2016 is also thrilled to have partnered with the Sens Foundation. All proceeds of this event will be given to their Campership Program, allowing more than 1,100 children and youth, aged 4 to 17, from 36 communities in eastern Ontario and 10 communities in western Quebec, to attend camp this summer over a 5 to 12 day session. For more information, visit www.sensfoundation.com.
“Beyond the grand prize, we wanted to be able to give back to the community that supports our successful businesses,” said Colleen Lyle. “What better way to do this than to be able to send local kids to camp, allowing them to grow, experience authentic leadership in an outdoor setting.”
What’s more, the event will be highlighted by a scavenger hunt set within the Kanata Centrum plaza. To increase chances of winning the $15,000 grand prize, registrants can submit a video explaining how the prize would change their lives. The public will have the opportunity to vote on the most compelling submissions, and the top 20 will be asked to participate in the April 9th scavenger hunt. Winners of the Scavenger Hunt will receive extra ballots for the draw.
We would also like to thank our sponsors, in particular Loving Paws, a wonderful local company that visits homes to provide professional dog walking, pet sitting, and house sitting Services.
