It’s flu (clinic) season!

It’s flu season – everybody’s favourite time of year (after Festivus.)

If you’d rather avoid the fever, cough, aches, sores, congestion, occasional vomiting and other… symptoms, you’ll probably want to get the flu shot ASAP if you haven’t already.

Here’s a quick overview of where you can get the shot in Ottawa:

  • Pretty much every pharmacy, including the ones inside grocery stores. All you need is your health card. The Ontario government has a tool mapping all the participating pharmacists…
  • Your doctor’s office.
  • Clinics will be held across the city at schools, hospitals and community buildings.
  • For children under five, Ottawa Public Health provides free clinics by appointment. To register, call OPH at 613-580-6744.
