Karters Korners comes alive with Enchanted holiday drive-through

Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year and 2020 will be no exception. Thanks to the DNA Live team behind Ottawa’s incredibly successful The Drive-In Experience and Deadwood Haunted Drive is back again and getting into the holiday spirit. DNA Live joyfully brings you Ottawa’s newest winter experience: Enchanted, presented by Richcraft. Tickets go on sale November 23, 2020.

Enchanted, presented by Richcraft, is a holiday drive-through experience like no other. While making their way through the nostalgic Karter’s Korner’s track, attendees will experience eight holly, jolly, festive scenes for the whole family to enjoy. Enchanted will have no shortage of spectacular special effects, innovative lighting and fantastical production, but, unlike most other experiences, it will also largely focus on scenery and interaction. With live actors (including Santa), fully built scenes, a mailbox for letters to Santa, and a sense of wonder like no other, Enchanted is set to bring a new level of magic to Ottawa this holiday season.

Ali Shafaee, Executive Director at DNA Live, told us, “with most gatherings still paused, and after the unprecedented success of Deadwood Haunted Drive, many were left craving another drive-through experience. The holidays will inevitably look a bit different this year but that doesn’t mean there cannot be safe ways to celebrate and create lifelong memories, which is why we decided to bring Enchanted Holiday Drive presented by Richcraft to life this winter.”

Shawn Bellman, Director of Marketing at Richcraft Homes says, “Richcraft Homes is excited to partner with our friends at DNA Live on this festive family friendly drive through experience!”

With a few local floats already confirmed to participate in the Enchanted magical event, DNA Live invites local organizations or businesses to get involved. Ali said, “we understand it may be hard for floats to get organized in such a short turnaround time but he would still love to talk to anyone who has interest as perhaps we can help them with our team and infrastructure to execute it quickly”. If you are interested in participating in this Enchanted drive through, contact Ali Shafaee at this link.

When asked about the entry fee, Ali said, “our entry fee is $40 per car.  What differs in our experience versus other holiday drives or parades is the live element. We will feature up to 15 live characters each night including Princesses, The Grinch, Santa, Elves, Ms Claus and more!”.

Ali emphasized getting your tickets early, “the Deadwood Haunted Drive drew over 4,000 cars in less than a week with many on a waitlist to purchase tickets. DNA Live expects a similar turn-out for the Enchanted holiday drive through and we recommend that you purchase your tickets early to avoid disappointment“.
