It is no secret that the members of the Small Business Association (SBA) and all small businesses in Stittsville have been dramatically affected by the measures in place to help everyone stay healthy during this beast of a pandemic. This has not stopped the SBA and the generosity of a Stittsville family from paying it forward.
With an extremely generous financial donation from Ross and Corleen Bradley, and SBA funds, the members are reaching out over the next week to personally THANK our Stittsville essential workers for all they are doing for our community.
The thank you gifts will be in the form of gift cards, lunches, dinners, pastry platters and more to say thank you to the front line workers in Stittsville. The SBA has also purchased these same items to support our local businesses.
Allan Ryan was overtly enthusiastic to share the good news with Stittsville Central. “Lesley, it was an honour for me to coordinate this effort to reach out through our SBA, on behalf of Ross and Corleen Bradley and their very generous donation, to local front line workers.” Allan added, “We have and will be reaching out to all of these groups with their gifts of thank you — retirement home staff; the Ottawa Police Service; our local Fire Service; our local pharmacies; Paramedics and local grocery stores.
A letter of thanks (below) on behalf of the Stittsville Business Association will accompany each of the donations being delivered to this incredible group of essential services workers in our area.
Hello,
I feel privileged, on behalf of our Stittsville Business Association and because of the very generous contribution given to us by Ross and Corleen Bradley of Stittsville, to offer your group a small token of our tremendous gratitude for the work you continue to do each day in our community.
What you do is not easy at the best of times. In the midst of this pandemic, with the added level of stress and anxiety for each of you and your families is even greater, makes it even more of a challenge.
So THANK YOU all very much for what you do for our Stittsville community.
We are all very grateful indeed for your efforts and commitments during this
difficult time for all. On behalf of the SBA and the Bradley family, please enjoy, keep safe and thank you for your community service.
Best Regards,
Allan Ryan
