On Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at Village Square Park in Stittsville, the Board of the Ottawa First Responders Foundation will announce a new Regional Foundation. Stittsville’s Brenda Tirrell will be the President heading up this new charitable Foundation. It will be an essential catalyst in helping First Responder mental health through a variety of initiatives designed to augment existing programs. The announcement will be made at 10:00 am.
This Foundation has come to fruition after almost a decade of working with First Responders, connecting them to the community and raising funds through a well-known annual event, the 9runrun.
