OC Transpo driver tests positive for COVID-19

OC Transpo has received confirmation that a bus operator has tested positive for COVID-19 that affects some Stittsville and area routes. The employee’s last day of work was June 2 and has been self-isolating since then. In this case Ottawa Public Health (OPH) has advised that the key dates are the 48-hour period prior to the onset of symptoms which are May 31, June 1 and 2.

Below are the routes, dates and times that the operator was servicing routes.

May 31, 2021 – worked from 6:04 am to 2:10 pm on Bus #4745:
Route 63 6:26 am Eagleson Station to 6:38 am Innovation Park & Ride
• Route 266 6:54 am Maxwell Bridge/March to 7:42 am Tunney’s Pasture Station
• Route 164 8:10 am Acceptance/Hope Side Road to 8:40 am Terry Fox Station
Route 168 8:43 am Terry Fox Station to 9:23 am Terry Fox/Fernbank
Route 168 9:30 am Terry Fox/Fernbank to 10:11 am Terry Fox Station
