OPEN LETTER: Stittsville Business Association grateful for timely donation

Hi Catherine,

I apologize for not reaching out to you sooner on this, but even during covid, it seems the days are busier than ever before. On behalf of our Executive team, I wanted to express our gratitude to you for your generous contribution to our Association. As you may know, for 2020 we elected to waive our membership fees to help businesses during  a very difficult fiscal time, and for 2021 we will be reducing our annual  membership fee from $250.00 to $200.00 for our members. Both of these measures were our attempt to help local business owners, in a small way, with their costs for being part of our Association.

Your $200.00 donation to us will certainly assist our bottom line in covering some needed expenses we use to help promote and support our great local business sector. Having you as a member and supporter of our efforts as an executive, means a great deal to us and our efforts for local business owners in our community. Unlike many levels of government, we do work to be good fiscal managers of our budget, and strive to live within our means to the best of our ability. We are proud of what we do as a group of volunteers, and I am grateful to work with such a dedicated group of community minded individuals.

So, thank you for your timely and kind donation to the SBA. I can assure you every penny we spend is used wisely in support of our local business sector. Your donation was also matched by another great business as well,  the Warmstone Dental group so we thank them as well for their generosity.

I hope all is well at Mahogany Salon and Spa; and we thank you for being such a great business entrepreneur within our community.

Best regards,

Allan Ryan
President, Stittsville Business Association
