Shortly thereafter, at 12:23 pm, Ottawa Fire responded to a vehicle rollover at the request of Ottawa Police that took place at the westbound off-ramp of Highway 417 and Eagleson Road.
One person was trapped in an SUV that was on its roof. A male in
his 30s required extrication from the vehicle. Ottawa Fire Technical Rescue Team technicians stabilized the vehicle using rejacks and additional fire fighters supplied hose lines as a precaution during the extrication of the patient.
The patient was placed into the care of Ottawa Paramedics who transported him to the trauma centre.
