The snow is melting, and we seem to finally be approaching spring after a long winter. It’s the perfect time to get outside, enjoy the weather, and support local artisans.
Saturday, March 20th marks the unofficial beginning of the season for the “Outdoor Artisan and Makers Markets” hosted by The Little Red Spade. Even better? This first market is free for vendors!
The market runs from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. every Saturday, rain or shine.
Lorette Thomsen, owner of The Little Red Spade, is expecting a smaller number of vendors to start the season for this Saturday’s market. Interested vendors can email Lorette at thelittleredspade@gmail.com to sign up.
The beginning of the market season is certainly welcome, as many customers of The Little Red Spade have expressed their excitement at attending the market again to support local.
The forecast currently calls for rain the following week on Saturday, March 27th. However, Lorette is hopeful that the weather will change for the official start to the “Outdoor Artisan and Makers Markets”.
