The Main Street of Stittsville came alive Saturday evening as everyone came out to celebrate the Stittsville Village Association’s “Parade of Lights”. Many local businesses offered hot chocolate and treats of all sorts to excited children and their families. Our recently elected Ward 6-Stittsville Councillor Glen Gower took part in his inaugural parade appearance on the City of Ottawa float. Joining him were Mayor Jim Watson, local money raising celebrity Tysen Lefebvre and local Special Olympics pairs figure skater, Jack Fan. Barry Gray our fantastic contributing photographer was there to capture the moments.
