Volunteers searching for Holly the Goldendoodle haven’t lost hope that the dog can still be found. This week they’re following up on a possible sighting in Kanata North.
Holly went missing in late December 2014 along the Trans Canada Trail near Abbott Street.
From the Finding Holly Facebook page:
We received this report about a sighting this morning. A dirty doodle type dog near Terry Fox and Old 2nd Line Road. It is very possible that Holly could travel there from her last known location. As with the forested area off Hazeldean, this is a heavily wooded area, with lots of trails and paths. Holly’s family has been contacted.
If any one is in the area, please keep your eyes open for her. If you are available, we would really appreciate if we could get people out to poster the area.
Last month, vandals wrecked a trail cam that was set up to try to track Holly west of Kittiwake. Volunteers believe they’ve identified the culprits, who were caught on camera. They’ve passed on the info to police who are attempting to contact them.
