On Saturday, October 14 from 2-5 pm, the Stittsville RAMS Minor Atom hockey team will be hosting a 3 on 3 ball hockey tournament for Novice, Atom and Peewee teams (kids born between 2005 – 2010) at the old Stittsville flea market lot on Hazeldean Rd. near the corner of Main Street.
A first for Stittsville, the team hopes it will become a fun, annual event, bringing friends and neighbours together. Hot 89.9 radio station will be there to provide music and energy and Urban Cowboy food truck will offer players, parents and spectators a mouth-watering selection of hamburgers, sweet potato fries, shrimp tacos, chicken wraps, poutine and more. The event will feature a series of 20 minute games, with semi-finals and finals. Prizes will be awarded to the winning teams from each division!
Spots are limited and registration closes on October 8, so have your child find 4 friends and join the fun! Any teams of 5 are welcome – boys, girls or co-ed! The cost to register a team of 5 players is $125 ($25 per player). To register, go to: http://bit.ly/2hwXHHk.
