Ottawa Fire Services received a 911 call on February 23, 2018 at 03:26 hours from the homeowner at 101 Huntley Manor Drive (off William Mooney Road, just north of Stittsville). The owner advised audible alarms and that there was fire and smoke visible in a fireplace and main floor.
Fire fighters confirmed a working fire upon arrival and that the residents had safely evacuated.
The home will not be habitable due to smoke damage. Fire fighters continue suppression operations. There are no reports of civilian or fire fighter injuries.
Victim Services are responding to assist the residents and Ottawa Police Services, Ottawa Paramedic Service, Enbridge Gas and Hydro one are assisting at scene. An Ottawa Fire Services Investigator is responding. Damage estimates and cause are not yet available.
