Stittsville couple win CHEO dream home – second prize and 50/50 won by Stittsville and Kanata residents

What a way to start 2020 — winning a prize package valued at over $2.5 million! The CHEO Dream of a Lifetime Lottery was won by Stittsville couple Sandra and Richard Rahn-Munhall.

The Rahn-Munhall family have won the fully-furnished 5,641 square foot Minto home located at 348 Eaglehead Crescent in Potter’s Key, as well as $100,000 in cash, a 2019 Nissan Leaf Plus SL from Myers Automotive Group, a $5,000 Farm Boy gift card, a $5,000 Canadian Tire gift card, Ottawa Redblacks 2020 season tickets for two, 2020 RBC Bluesfest full event passes for two, house cleaning for a year from ATC Cleaning, moving services from Adam’s Moving and legal services from Mann Lawyers.

The second prize went to Christina Anglin and David Clarke of Stittsville. The couple and their kids have won a prize package worth over $175,000 that includes $100,000 in cash, a 2019 Infiniti Q50 from Myers Automotive Group, a trip for two to New Zealand on a 12-day National Geographic Tour from Marlin Travel, Ottawa Redblacks 2020 season tickets for two, and 2020 RBC Bluesfest full event passes for two.

Third prize in the lottery draw went to Jayne Vitkuske. She has won a prize package worth over $73,000 that includes a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab LT 4WD from Myers Automotive Group, a trip for two to the Grand Palladium White Sand Resort & Spa in Cancun, Mexico, from Marlin Travel and Transat, a $5,000 Fitness Depot gift card, Ottawa Redblacks 2020 season tickets for two and 2020 RBC Bluesfest full event passes for two.

The winner of the 50/50 draw, Kevin Brydges of Kanata, has won $739,045. The final 50/50 jackpot total was $1,478,090. Last year’s winner took home $607,477.50.

The total prize value for the lottery is $3,959,350.66. The Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario is expected to raise $5 million from the lottery with these proceeds being used to purchase equipment, conduct research, support programs and fund urgent needs at CHEO.

Lottery ticket purchasers can check their numbers online as of 5:00 pm on Thursday, January 9 at www.dreamofalifetime.ca. All winners will receive a confirmation letter from Miratel Solutions Inc. within two weeks, detailing how to claim their prize.
