The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) is investigating a fraud as well as the break and enter it is linked to. The OPS is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect responsible.
On the morning of Saturday, March 2, 2019 a residential break and enter occurred in the 300 block area of Livery Street in Stittsville’s residential area of Blackstone. The homeowner’s wallet containing several identification cards and a credit card was stolen by the unknown male suspect.
The stolen credit card was fraudulently used several hours later at a grocery store and a gas station in the Brockville area.
The suspect was described as Caucasian male in his 20’s. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants, black Gucci brand baseball cap and white Nike Air Jordan shoes.
