Stittsville Lions Club find new way to make up for loss of donations at Parade of Lights

The Stittsville Lions Club have creatively found a new way to raise funds in lieu of collecting donations at the cancelled Parade of Lights. The Lions members have for many years collected donations of food and money for the Stittsville Food Bank as they travelled alongside the parade route and are counting on residents to help them out during this time of need for the food bank.

For this reason, the Lions have teamed up with Benny&Co. to bring you a delicious chicken dinner on Friday, September 25 from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. Not only are Benny&Co. providing the meal at $18.00 (inclusive of beverage and dessert), they are donating $9.00 from each ticket sold to the Food Bank and each participate will also receive a $10.00 gift card to be used at a future date. This is a win-win for the Stittsville Food Bank and for all to enjoy a Friday night treat.

The Lions are pleased to report that tickets are selling briskly with a few more available. Support this needed cause to help the Stittsville community who rely on our local Food Bank. The tickets are available on Eventbrite. You can also purchase your ticket on the day of the event.

Come out on Friday to personally meet Jean-Christophe Benny and the Lions team. They look forward to seeing you there!
