Stittsville students receive bursaries from three local organizations

Three local organizations came together on Monday, June 3rd to present bursaries to Stittsville students for their continued education. Each student was presented with a bursary for $1,000 from the Stittsville Legion Branch 618, the 55+ Club (an arm of the Legion) and The Stittsville Friendship Club.

The Stittsville Legion handed out 17 bursaries for a total of $17,000, with the 55+ Club and The Friendship Club each issuing a $1,000 bursary. Nineteen students will be able to apply this money to their further education thanks to the generosity of these three local organizations.

The students receiving the bursaries are: Brooke Bradley, Jordan Collacutt, Justin Collacutt, Alyssa Latimer D’Aoust, Tyler Dasilvas, Hannah Girard, Jasmine Hewitt-Lecinana, Troy Martin, Tess Martin, Michaela McCormick, Gabrielle Blaire Ross, Rachel Mary Ross, Tiana Roth, Ryan Seguin, Caitlin Seguin, Taylor Vander Kloet, Antoine Verville and Brooklyn Vant’Slot.
