Alberta born and a Stittsville resident for over 10 years, Dallas Alexander is an old school country and blues singer-songwriter. His songs have a distinctly Canadian country vibe – one you both hear and feel.

Raised on the Fishing Lake Métis Settlement, Dallas gets his musical inspiration that shines through in his music from his backwoods upbringing. Country music greats Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash and Garth Brooks have provided the inspiration as well, but modern artists such as Tyler Childers, Colter Wall and the Turnpike Troubadours are his influence.

Dallas has been active in the local music scene playing local bar shows, charity fundraisers and participating in social media driven music events for the past year. He is dedicated to helping local charities such as CHEO and the Ottawa Mission.

Dallas told Stittsville Central, “I love the support I get from the folks in Stittsville every time I have a show, they always make it a party!” He also says that he is excited to announce he is finally ready to officially release his first single – Pass it On. It is currently being mastered and will be released shortly on all major music platforms and a limited vinyl copy will be coming very soon. He expressed that the track is unmistakably Canadian and family inspired with a playful take on the uniqueness of Canada and the fun of being born and raised here.
