Brother and sister team of Ritesh (Rick) and Neha Patel received a warm welcome to the community of Stittsville during the grand opening of their Hazeldean Pharmacy RxPharmaChoice on October 2nd. Parents, family, friends, Dr. Seaby and staff from Green Acres Family Dental and dignitaries joined the Patel siblings in celebration of the official opening.
To take part in the ribbon cutting ceremony were Stittsville’s local representatives: Pierre Poilievre, MP for Carleton; Goldie Ghamari, MPP for Carleton, Councillor Glen Gower, Ward 6 Stittsville; Tanya Hein, President of the Stittsville Village Association; and, Allan Ryan, President of the Stittsville Business Association.
Each representative took a moment to congratulate and welcome Ritesh and Neha to the community with their new pharmacy – especially for taking the step to open a new business during these extraordinary times. Welcome plaques were presented and Allan Ryan was pleased to say that the Stittsville New Business Award has been resurrected with Hazeldean Pharmacy RxPharmaChoice being the inaugural business to receive one as he welcomed them to the business community. MP Pierre Poilievre said that small businesses are integral to the make-up of any community and wished them every success. Goldie Gharmari, MPP, was quick to note the accomplishments 32-year old Neha had reached in a few short years – extending her congrats and noted it was brave to open a business during these difficult times. Councillor Glen Gower welcomed the new pharmacy to Stittsville saying local businesses are the backbone of a community and wished Rick and Neha every success. Tanya Hein shared her good wishes and the importance of the services RxPharmaChoice will bring to the community.
Ritesh said he is pleased to be opening his business in Stittsville and thanked everyone for coming to the opening. Following the ceremony, coffee, desserts and the celebratory cake were enjoyed by those in attendance.
Ritesh, Neha and their families are residents of Stittsville, so being a part of the community and opening their business here means that much more to being able to serve their fellow members of the community.
You can expect one-on-one service from Ritesh and Neha as they manage your prescription and health requirements. Their patients needs and health is their priority. They are also currently taking appointments for the flu shot which is expected to be shipped to the pharmacy in the next week or so.
