Inside The Little Red Spade (TLRS) you can find HOBO handmade cigar box guitars, charcuterie boards, jewellrey, handcrafted leather purses, fusion paint, a wall of wool, custom etched glassware and so much more. The Little Red Spade is a quaint little shop on Stittsville Main that caters to those who love attractive homemade crafts. You can find many locally made gifts for that special someone or even yourself! Father’s Day is on June 20th and you are sure to find the perfect gift for Dad at the Makers Market this Saturday, June 19 or Sunday, June 20.
Why does a Makers Market stand out from others? These markets provide an opportunity for small, local entrepreneurs just starting out to display and sell their creations. The market gives an advantage for the vendors to become known in the community for their quality products with customers returning for more.
The TLRS Makers Market, is pleased to introduce you to Samantha, a local Sacred Heart High School student, who along with her two sisters started https://myplutodesigns.square.site/ creating a beautiful selection of handmade quilling greeting cards. Say happy Father’s Day with one of the handcrafted cards made by Samantha and her sisters. She will also be selling greeting cards for birthdays, graduation and other occasions. You can find Samantha at the My Pluto Designs display on Saturday, June 19 from 10:00am until 2:00pm.
Who loves homemade baking? Joan Knight, of Knight’s Bakehouse, will be selling her wonderfully created baked goods and cookies on both Saturday and Sunday at the Makers Market.
