UPDATE: Three consecutive Stittsville-Kanata armed robberies in less than two hours

Thanks to the public’s assistance, arrests and charges have been made for the Stittsville-Kanata March 30 robberies. Charged are:

Patrick JEDDORE, 22 years old, of Ottawa was charged with:

  • Wearing a disguise with intent X3
  • Carrying a concealed weapon X3
  • Possession of a weapon X3
  • Pointing a firearm X3
  • Armed robbery X3
  • Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order

Bradley HERRON, 24 years old, of Ottawa was charged with:

  • Armed robbery X3
  • Conspiracy to commit an indictable offence

The were both scheduled to appear in court on March 31, 2020.

During the morning of March 30 three consecutive armed robberies took place that the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit is now investigating. The OPS Robbery Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in the robberies that took place in the West end area.

At approximately 10:39 am, in the 1 to 100 block of Bishops Mills Way, a male suspect approached the victim pointing a gun and asked for his wallet.  The victim stated that he did not carry a wallet before the suspect fled on foot.

At approximately 11:08 am, in the 700 block of March Road, a male suspect entered a convenience store armed with a gun demanding money.  He stole an undisclosed amount of money and fled on foot.

At approximately 11:45 am, in the 5800 block of Hazeldean Road, a male suspect entered a convenience store armed with a gun, demanding money and cigarettes. He fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes.

In all three instances, the suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian male, approximately 5’10” (178 cm), slim build
  • Wearing all black clothing, white latex gloves, a black Balaclava and black sunglasses
  • Carrying a blue reusable grocery bag.

This suspect is considered armed and dangerous. Please do not approach him, call 911 immediately.
