U-Rock Students bring spirit of Christmas to Stittsville

(via U-Rock Music School)

Our music students aged 6-17 will be full of good cheer on Sunday, December 20, when they perform at an open mic event at Hurley’s Restaurant in Stittsville from 2pm-3pm.

The musical theme is “winter fun” and all the students will be singing Christmas carols or festive winter songs.

This will also be the very first performance of U-Rock’s new all-girl singing group, The Roxies, aged 6-9 years old. They will be performing two great songs to open the show.

In the spirit of giving, U-Rock Music School is also collecting small musical items at this event, such as guitar pics, straps, guitar strings, patch cords and anything else that will help the teens who enjoy the benefits of music therapy while in treatment at the Royal Ottawa Hospital.

We invite everyone to come out and enjoy the spirit of the season with our young rock stars, while also helping us give back to a very worthy cause.
