Canada Day in Stittsville is shaping up to be a great event, with a mix of new attractions and traditional favourites. Please join us for a day of family-friendly fun on the grounds of Sacred Heart High School, July 1st from 1pm to 10 pm. Fireworks will go off at 9:45 pm sharp.

We will have live music all afternoon and evening, some great inflatables, including a zipline, horse and wagon rides, face painting by Honeydrop Body Art, strolling characters from Dream It Character Parties & Events, a petting zoo, free birthday cake and glow sticks, and food served up by local favourites Jo-Jo’s Pizza, Pong’s Poutine, Crave Tacos, and Holmespun Ice Cream.

Stay tuned for more details, and please do get in touch if you can volunteer. We need many helpers for this event to succeed. Students welcome!

In addition to the opening ceremony at 1 pm, our Celebrate Canada Canadian Heritage Stage is proud to showcase live, local entertainment from: The L.A. Connection (2pm), Blues Wind (3 pm), dance demos by Nxt Generation Dance (4 pm), Jumpin’ Jimmy Leroux (5 pm), Bill Martin (6 pm), Wild and Crazy (7 pm), Poole Creek Boys (8 pm), and Scheduled Conflict (9 pm).

None of this would be possible with the support of our sponsors. Find our sponsorship package here to find out more about what we can offer your business.
