Here’s another look behind-the-scenes at the new Tanger Outlets, dining hall courtesy of Grace Odumo from local fashion blog 613 Style.
A dining hall is what we used to call a food court, and they’re becoming an important tool that mall owners use to entice customers to visit, eat, and shop for longer. Rideau Centre and Bayshore Shopping Centre both recently completed major renovations of their eating areas.
“They are building a beautiful dining hall that features a four foot tall fireplace in addition to a walkout patio for diners to enjoy during the spring/summer seasons,” writes Odumo.
Restaurants confirmed by Tanger so far include Godiva, Nestle Toll House, Subway, and Teriyaki Experience.
“Although they are remaining relatively tight-lipped about the exact names of restaurants that will be available come October 17th, they were kind enough to give us a tour of the progress that has been made thus far.”
These photos were taken in mid-September. You can see more photos on her blog.
“Where Winnie is standing below is the location for the forthcoming walkout dining patio. It’s in the perfect spot to observe people entering and exiting the outlet centre, in addition to cars using the main road.”
“This is what the 4-foot tall gas fireplace looks like so far, it’s sure to be a showstopper when complete.”
it doesn’t look like 5 days away from completion!
