The Beyond the Fringe running club, made up of members from Stittsville, Kanata and Carp, recently held their third annual Christmas Tree Run. The group runs out along the Trans Canada Trail and decorates a tree for the holidays. This year they raised $1,095 for Chrysalis House, an emergency shelter operated by the Western Ottawa Community Resource Centre.
