Two-alarm fire at Tomlinson recycling plant
Ottawa Fire Services received a 911 call at 6:58am reporting a recycling facility on Westhunt road off of Carp Road was fully engulfed in fire.
Victoria Day schedule changes – fireworks, garbage collection and more
There are changes to City services on Victoria Day, Monday, May 24 – a stat holiday in Ontario and Quebec. As some of these changes affect the week following – more so garbage collection. Here is a list of services for your convenience.
Stittsville Village Square included in City’s recycling in parks pilot project
In all, 33 parks have been chosen, with Village Square Park in Stittsville being chosen. In June, 2021 you can expect to see new receptacles for waste placed throughout the park.
